The first ANTIPOD collection was formed from original photographs of small details in my neighbourhood when I lived in Vancouver, Canada.
Ripped posters covered the mass of temporary walls erected to screen the massive construction sites lining our streets during that time. These posters were inevitably written on, torn and pasted over.
Between the rips and tears and the intimacy of the handwriting on these posters, abstract compositions formed unintentional collages. Artifacts of a city in flux.
